1 oxides over white card. Lay a dry Backsplash Backsplash stencil by Simon Hurley
Fossilized Amber, Candied Apple, Carved
stencil over the inked card. Secure in place with
Pumpkin & Vintage Photo Distress oxides
either a repositionable stencil spray or tape.
2 From around 2ft above, spritz water over the entire inked card and stencil. l .

Immediately place the kitchen towel over to absorb the water - using
3 baby wipes will also work.
4 Spritz and towel over as many times as you like.
Remove the stencil when ready and dry. The original ink colour was trapped
5 underneath the stencil and the water has colour lifted the area around.
Finish by adding the panel to your card front with a vellum heart and
6 die-cut sentiment.
Lifting with bleach
What do I need?
Lifting with bleach Blend Distress oxides over white card.
Fossilized Amber, Candied Apple, Carved 1 Allow to dry.

Weekend Doodles stamp by Altenew Use black ink to stamp the buds from the

Use a water brush pen or a ne paintbrush to add bleach to the water.

Dab the bleach/water mix over the panel, then lift away the colour

Repeat this as many times as you like. The more times you paint and
5 dab away, the whiter the image becomes. This is great if you want to
highlight particular areas of the image.
Lifting with water
What do I need?
Blend Distress oxides over a white panel of Lifting with water

2 image at the top and bottom of the panel. Wallpaper Art stamp by Altenew
