11. Tourist Activities

11.1 Places of interest

• The tourism program of the Philippines is administered by
the Department of Tourism which is located in Rizal Park,
Manila. Regional tourist offices can be found in places with
major tourist attractions, such as Baguio City, Zamboanga City,
Tacloban City, Davao City, Boracay and others. Regional offices
usually provide information about their respective tourist
attractions. A good range of more specific local information
about places of interest is available free. The Manila tourist office
is open from 7 am to 6 pm daily, while offices at the Ninoy
Aquino International Airport and the Centennial Terminal are
open specifically to welcome arriving passengers.
