Church. Pecz was a follower of
                                          the Neo-Gothic movement and
                                          constructed many other impor tant
                                          buildings in the city.
                                      2 Capuchin Church
                                      In its original medieval
                                  form, this church underwent
                                    conversion into a mosque
at the hands of the Turks.
                                   Many Gothic elements have
                                  survived, however. Its present
                                  structure dates from 1854–6.
