Lefkáda Town

Lying on a promontory around a natural harbour in Lefkáda’s north,
the island’s capital has a modern appearance as a result of recurrent
earthquake damage and the resulting reconstruction of its buildings.
The town has a sophisticated, relaxed feel, and offers everything
from tiny streets and squares to great water front restaurants and
elegant shopping along Dorpfeld, its pedestrianized street. Life here
revolves around the harbour area and lively marina. The town is
linked to the Greek mainland by two small bridges over a channel.
