STREET LUGE Looking to get downhill fast? Lie  back on your luge board and let  gravity do the rest. Street luge  started among skateboarders  back in the 1970s. Experienced  lugers may reach speeds of up     to 80 mph (128 km/h) as they  hurtle down the course, their  bodies suspended a mere     2 in (5 cm) above  the ground. Awesome!
