Wild garlic
Wild garlic carpets woodland
floors in spring. It is also commonly
known as ramson. The plant has
a strong smell of garlic and
all its parts can be eaten.
The flowers are
star-shaped and
have six petals.

Closing time
Wood sorrel grows in woods and
on shady banks. Its leaves have
three parts, called leaflets. The
leaflets close up at night. They
look a bit like folded umbrellas.
