GHOST OF THE DEEP
This ghost shark is happiest in coastal
seas but sometimes descends to
deeper, darker waters where it
spends most of its time swimming
slowly along the bottom looking for
equally slow prey. Its strong sense of
smell and ability to detect electric
fields help it search in the gloom.
