Did You Know?
                The park runs public
              “wolf howls”, where staff
                imitate wolf cries to
                 hear a response.

        ALGONQUIN

          PROVINCIAL PARK

        ⌂ Hwy 60 # Year-round, but limited services Nov–Mar
        ∑ algonquinpark.on.ca
With its dense maple and pine woods, rocky ridges, and thousands of
sparkling lakes and rivers, Algonquin is a national treasure. Wildlife
abounds here: beavers, moose, and bears are all frequently spotted
in their natural habitats, and the park echoes with the hauntingly
        beautiful call of the loon.
        The Parkway Corridor
Hwy 60 is the only road through Algonquin, and
it intersects a small portion of the park near
its southern edge. Day trippers can follow its
        35-mile (56-km) route to catch the park’s
major sights in a limited timeframe. Along here
is the Visitor Centre, Art Centre, and Logging
        Museum, plus various rental facilities.
        Algonquin Logging Museum
This museum brings to life the story of logging
        in Algonquin. A 1-mile (1.5-km) trail features

                  Paddling a canoe through the
                     calm waters of Herb Lake
