Cultural tip Italy uses the European currency, the euro.
This is divided into 100 cents, which the Italians call centesimi.
You will usually hear the price given as dieci euro e venti
(€10,20), sei euro e novantanove (€6,99), etc. Italians use
a comma for the decimal point.
