The message is
loud and clear with
this colourful frog
Strawberry poison dart frogs
display their dazzling skin as a
natural defence mechanism, so
as to warn potential predators of
their toxicity. Despite their name,
these frogs come in a variety of
colours, including orange, yellow
and green, as well as the classic
red. Poison dart frogs grow to
be no more than 2.5 centimetres
(one inch) long, but size doesn’t
really matter when you’re one of
the most poisonous creatures in
the rainforest.
