Washington. There is also a replica of his
unique 16sided treading barn, which
was created using authentic tools.
Washington’s Tomb
In his will, Washington
requested that a new
brick tomb be built for his
family at Mount Vernon.
Washington died in 1799
but the tomb was not
completed until 1831.
