PHOTO STORY TIGERS
SAVED BUT CAGED
Aceh Province, Indonesia
A snare cost this six-month-
old Sumatran tiger cub his
right front leg, which had
to be amputated because it
was so badly mangled. He
was trapped for four days
before being rescued by
anti-poaching forest patrols.
Sadly, he will have to spend
the rest of his life in captivity.
