FOOD FIGHT

This old female (left) had been feeding
for a couple of hours on a freshly killed
sambar when a large male appeared.
She wisely backed of and watched
from a distance. Without warning, he
left the kill and attacked her. Luckily, he
stopped after she rolled on her back in
submission, then he calmly returned to
