Exploring the Palace
As a historic royal palace, Hampton Court bears traces
of many of the kings and queens of England from
Henry VIII to the present day. The building itself
is a harmonious blend of Tudor and English Baroque
architecture. Inside, visitors can see the Great Hall,
built by Henry VIII, as well as the state apartments
