DRONE DELIVERIES
Remote-controlled, pilotless aircraft, called drones, are
designed for a wide range of purposes, including spying
and warfare. Today, delivery companies are developing
drones to carry items such as goods ordered online,
medical supplies, and possibly even delivery meals.
The drone shown here making a test flight is called the
Parcelcopter. Produced in Germany, it is part of an
ongoing research project started in 2013 on how to
use drones to deliver consumer goods. GET MOVING
