The red rock
crab stands out
The red rock or Sally Lightfoot crab was
apparently named after a Caribbean
dancer because of how it moves. This
brightly coloured crustacean stands out
against the black volcanic rock where it
is found in the Galapagos Islands. It also
lives on the western shorelines of South
and Central America.
