Stanley Cup

The Tampa Bay Lightning
have seemed poised to win
their second Stanley Cup
for a few seasons now. Last
year they had one of the
NHL’s three 100-point scorers
(Nikita Kucherov) and the
Norris Trophy winner for best
defenseman (Victor Hedman).
The St. Louis Blues, meanwhile,
figure to rebound nicely after
punting at the 2018 trade
deadline. In the offseason,
though, they traded for Ryan
O’Reilly, one of the game’s
best two-way centers. If
the goaltending can hold
up in St. Louis, the team
should challenge in the
ultracompetitive Central.

A Bolt out of the Blue
Ondrej Palat (18) and the Lightning are chasing their second
Stanley Cup, while Jaden Schwartz and the Blues seek title No. 1.
