DISNEY+ | Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made
A kid sleuth who’s loose with the facts
FAMILY Timmy Failure (Winslow Fegley) considers himself one of Portland’s
most dogged detectives, but he has a habit of forgetting about cases almost as soon as
he takes them on. If the class hamster’s death is so suspicious, as Timmy immediately
suspects, who was the culprit? No solution ever arrives, from either Timmy or Q&A
his assistant, an imaginary polar bear. (Timmy’s go-to theory is that Russians were
somehow involved.) It’s grade-school Raymond Chandler. This delightful movie— E!’s
a whirring toy of whimsical humor—is a celebration of eccentricity, imagination and Lilliana
one boy’s right to ignore evidence staring him straight in the face. (Launches Feb. 7) Vazquez
