              and  some  of  them  will  be  useful  when  you  make  your  own  sentences  for  your
              dialogues.


             Mga Salita Tungkol sa Oras (Words About Time)


              There are two ways of telling time in Tagalog/Filipino. The more popular way is to
              use the Spanish-derived words. The other way is to use indigenous Tagalog words.

              The  Spanish-derived  words  are  on  the  left  and  the  indigenous  words  are  in  the
              middle.
                 Ala-una              Ika-isa                  One o’clock

                 Alas-dos             Ikalawa                  Two o’clock
                 Alas-tres            Ikatatlo                 Three o’clock
                 Alas-kuwatro         Ika-apat                 Four o’clock

                 Alas-singko          Ikalima                  Five o’clock
                 Alas-sais            Ika-anim                 Six o’clock

                 Alas-siyete          Ikapito                  Seven o’clock
                 Alas-otso            Ikawalo                  Eight o’clock
                 Alas-nuwebe          Ikasiyam                 Nine o’clock

                 Alas-diyes           Ikasampu                 Ten o’clock
                 Alas-onse            Ikalabing-isa            Eleven o’clock
