PEDRO : Hello?

CLARA : Hello.
PEDRO : Puwede bang makausap si Clara?

May I speak to Clara?
CLARA : Ito nga si Clara.

This is Clara.
PEDRO : Si Pedro ito. Puwede ka ba sa pulong ng grupo natin?
This is Pedro. Can you make it to the meeting of our group?

CLARA : Kailan ang pulong?
When is the meeting?

PEDRO : Sa Sabado, alas-diyes ng umaga.
On Saturday, at ten o’clock in the morning.

CLARA : Hindi ako puwede sa Sabado ng umaga. Nasa klinika ako ng doktor.
Puwede kaya sa hapon?
I can’t make it on Saturday morning. I am at the doctor’s clinic. Is it
possible to have it in the afternoon?
