Write a short paragraph about your daily activities. Remember two things: first,
practice using the incompleted aspect (thus, words like gumigising, natutulog,
etc.); second, use effective linkers (such as pagkatapos [meaning then, or
afterwards ] and at [ and ]). Here is an example.

              Halimbawa
Gumigising ako nang alas-sais y medya ng umaga. Pagkatapos, naliligo at
nagbibihis ako. Kumakain ako ng almusal ng alas-siyete kinse. Pumupunta ako
sa eskuwelahan ng alas-otso. Nag-aaral ako mula alas-otso hanggang alas-onse
y medya. Nagbabasa ako ng mga libro, at nagsusulat ng mga report.
Pagkatapos, kumakain ako ng tanghalian. Naglalaro ako ng badminton sa
hapon. Umuuwi ako ng bahay nang alas-singko. Nanonood ako ng TV.
Kumakain ako ng hapunan nang alas-siyete. Natutulog ako nang alas-diyes.

                 Paglalagom

              In Aralin 17, you have:
              1. Learned new words describing your daily activities,
              2. Practiced the incompleted aspect (which some grammarians refer to in other
                  languages as the present tense),
              3. Studied how to conjugate the new verbs you have learned,
              4. Learned to use connectors,
              5. Reviewed how to use affixes in Filipino when using words derived from English.

You should now be able to:
              1. Talk and write about your daily activities.
              2. Write sentences and paragraphs that have a better “flow.”
