              Rice cakes are among the most popular snacks in the Philippines. One kind of rice
              cake is suman, or rice cake wrapped in leaves. How does one make suman ? Well,
              there are many answers to that question because there are many varieties of suman.
              It can be wrapped in either banana leaves or coconut palm leaves, it can be sweet,
              or served with latik, which is made of coconut.

                  Other kinds of rice cakes are puto or steamed rice cake and kutsinta, a sweet
             brown rice cake. These are usually eaten with grated coconut. These rice cakes can
             be eaten for breakfast or as a snack.
