              Although  renting  a  car  is  not  as  common  in  the  Philippines  as  it  is  in  other
              countries, renting “smaller” things is. There are two Tagalog/Filipino words for the
              word rent. When one rents or leases a house or an apartment, we say “umuupa ng
              bahay.” However, renting a bicycle or a vehicle is “arkila.” One can usually rent a
