Anna Cathcart

LIVING HER DREAM

Born in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada,
Anna Cathcart has always wanted to act.
“It has been a dream of mine since I was little,
but I never thought it could be a reality for me
and that it could be something I could do for
real!” Anna’s first acting role was in the 2016
television series, Odd Squad where she played
Agent Olympia. Then in 2017 she won a role
on the Disney Channel movie Descendants
2 as Dizzy Tremaine. Dizzy is the daughter of
Cinderella’s step-sister, Drizella Tremaine, which
also makes her Cinderella’s step-niece. In 2018
Anna starred as Kitty Covey in the Netflix film,
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, and earlier
this year she took on the role of Zoe in the
new web series, Zoe Valentine.

DISNEY DARLING

Anna joined the Descendants family in
the second film and will also be starring
in the third, but she still can’t believe how
lucky she is to be a part of it all. “I was
a huge fan of Descendants when it first
came out in 2015,” she revealed. ”It’s
so cool that I get to be a part of it now.
Honestly, I still can’t believe it!” She totally
loves playing the role of Dizzy Tremaine,
too. “She’s very positive, creative, and
expresses herself through fashion,” Anna
says about the character. “She looks on
the bright side and is happy and perky.
I love playing that sort of character. She
wasn’t in the best situations growing up,
but she didn’t let it beat her down.”
