Venice at a Glance
Venice is small and most of the sights
can be comfortably visited on foot.
The heart of the city is the Piazza San
Marco, which is overlooked by the great
Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. For many,
these are attractions enough, but there are
delights worth exploring beyond the Piazza,
such as the galleries of the Accademia,
Ca’ Rezzonico and the imposing Frari church. Ghetto
