A Danish architect, Theophil VisiTORs’ CHeCklisT
Hansen, made Vienna his
home and designed the Practical Information
city’s Parliament building. Simmeringer Hauptstrasse 234.

The Arcades
Some spectacular monuments can
be seen carved in the semi-circular
arcades facing the main entrance,
including this memorial (1848)
to the miner August Zang.
It shows the entrance
to a mine.
. Graves of the Musicians
The musicians buried here
include Johann Strauss Russian Orthodox Chapel
father and son (shown left), This small chapel, built in
Brahms, Beethoven and traditional Russian Orthodox
Schubert. There is also a style in 1894, is used by Vienna’s
monument to Mozart. Russian community.
