. The Villa
The original palazzo was built in the 14th
century and extended in the 17th. In the 1930s,
Mussolini held a notorious meeting with
General Franco here. The villa now houses
offices and is not open to the public, but visitors
can enjoy the lovely views over the gardens
and down to the sea from the villa’s loggia.
