of Teruel, is a region of pine
woods, jagged limestone
outcrops and scrub-covered
slopes. At 2,028 m (6,653 ft),
Peñarroya is the highest point.
Nearby Valdelinares, Spain’s
highest village, is a ski station.
From the access roads there are
panoramic views of the hills.
