Can you really target

period pain?

Ever paced around Boots in a panic because the period-targetting pain relief is
out of stock? If yes, we have welcome news: those pink boxes are little more than
marketing. “The drugs are usually the same – the original brand is equally good for
period pain,” says Jamie Urquhart, superintendent pharmacist at Now Patient. He
suggests ibuprofen or aspirin (over paracetamol), or Feminax Ultra if your cramps
are really bad as it contains naproxen, which is anti-inflammatory. Sweet relief.
