ZÜRICH FOR
SHOPPERS
Whether you’re splashing out or simply browsing, when it comes to shopping
in Switzerland, Zürich has no competition. It’s home to historic department
stores, legendary watch salons and fresh-faced designers who keep the city’s
residents catwalk-ready. No doubt about it, this city knows how to dress.
The New Kid on the Block
The city’s latest shopping sensation is the
pedestrianized Europaallee on the southern
side of Bahnhofstrasse. It’s growing year on
year, and is currently home to modern
Zürich-born fashion brands including Opia,
Alprausch and Fashnpie. Once you’re all
shopped out, there are just as many restau-
rants, cafés and bars to try. Buy a round of
craft beers at Loft Five, or a cocktail or two
at Ynos Kitchen Bar.
