CLEANING LENSES
Dirt and dust on the glass surfaces of
a lens can affect image quality. It is
therefore important to keep the lens
as clean as possible. One easy way
to do this is to use the front and rear
lens caps whenever a lens isn’t in use.
Lenses should be cleaned only as and
when necessary; too much cleaning
increases the risk of scratching or
damaging the lens coatings.
