DRIVE MODES
A camera’s Drive mode specifies how many
frames are shot when the shutter button is
pressed. Select Single and the camera will
shoot just one photo and stop. To take
another photo, you have to release the
shutter button and press it down again.
Hold the shutter button down in Continuous Drive mode
Drive and the camera will shoot a series of Single shooting
photos until the shutter button is released,
or until the buffer fills. Self-timer sets a timed
delay on the shutter firing once the shutter
button has been pressed. SET OK
THE RESULT CAMERA SETTINGS
Successful prefocusing takes a bit of practise, particularly if you are using ISO
a telephoto lens with a limited depth of field. Here, the dog’s eyes are A f/2.8 1/400 400 AW B
razor-sharp, which would have been difficult to achieve with AF. SEC
