Exploring Vilnius

Although its Old Town is one of the largest in Europe, Vilnius is a
surprisingly compact city that can easily be explored on foot.
Two of the best places to begin a tour of
the Old Town and its Baroque treasures
are Vilnius Cathedral in the north and
the Gates of Dawn in the south.
Gedimino Avenue, the main
