RIDING ON A DRAGONFLY
In this highly magnified photo, a dragonfly
called the hyacinth glider is shown carrying
extra passengers. The grape-like cluster on
its belly is an infestation of mites, which latch
on to the dragonfly in order to get free flights.
They will eventually leave their host to produce
babies that infest and suck fluids from juvenile
dragonflies, called nymphs
