Competition Overview:
Poultry showmanship gives young people the opportunity to competitively demonstrate their knowledge and skills in raising, R
conditioning, evaluating, and handling poultry. Participants gain experience in following oral instructions, speaking before an Y
audience and handling their bird!
Any type of poultry may be used for this showmanship competition: chicken, duck, geese. S

The chosen bird to be used by the exhibitor for showmanship must have been entered into their correct show during this year’s fair. O
The bird must be in good health.
