Dawn, The Joy Of Nature

It's dawn, leave your bed,
go down to the meadows
drenched in dew;
dive into the wood,
be the first to break
the finespun spiders' webs
whose silken threads
are iridescent with the fall
of dewdrops.

Smell the fresh, inebriating
scents of nature;
observe the variegated cloak
draped over the earth;
run across the fields,
and grasp
the sense of freedom;
experience the joy of nature
