P.L. Sreedharan Parokode

P.L.Sreedharan Parokode is a bi- lingual poet from Kerala
State. He has his early education in ALP School
Mundappadam and Pre-Degree to MA, Economics, at M
ES Mampad College. He also took Master degrees in English
and Population Studies. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in
Parental Education and MPhil Degree.
Sreedharan has thirty books of poetry to his credit, including
'Weeping Womb', 'Slum Flowers,''Mahatma Gandhi' etc.
He has also written songs for professional dramas, Songs for
albums, songs for competitions, devotional songs etc. He has
written songs for animation film also.
Sreedharan has attended various literary conferences in India
and abroad. He presented his poems at World Congress of
Poets, in Taiwan, 2015, China, 2018, and literary conference
in Serbia, 2007.

He has received awards and honours from various
organizations such as Sahitya shree Award, Sahitya
Shiromani Award, Shan E Adab Award etc. He has also
received an Hony. Doctorate from the World Academy of
Art and Culture.

Sreedharan is actively participating in educating the students
through poetry. He is a Research Scholar with Population
Studies Department. He was working in Calicut University
and lives near kozhikode.

I never cry over my failure
nor I take it an end of life,

But my tears wet my eyes
when i succeed in next attempts
on remembering how did I miss ?

since success been so sweet
