Thralled
You suddenly flew
into my sky
That so far remained
free from clouds
Blue and brilliant,
never sly
Brightly sparkling
beyond all shrouds.
Stirring ripples
with your charm
Thralled my soul
and flew away
To your nest
across seven seas
Beside the shores
of Belo Horizonte.
The Golden Diktat
Life's golden diktat to all:
Qualify and receive;
never hope fruits to drop from heaven;
Try, stand tall;
Life's a garden : it blossoms & its balm
floods your heart and soul
if raised with love and are...
for each plant, each leaf and stem,
each bud and each flower.
It's the divine Ganga….
eternally fluting along its flow
sustaining the soul with its balmy glow.
Never ever befoul the source
of blessings; it's a glittering goldmine
of perennial peace and built-in bliss.
If ever you err – you invoke its ire:
miseries follow, spinning you along
with your lush, sensuous shire
flowers flag... stop blooming,
each leaf and bud
starts withering mercilessly
whiffs of aroma cease with a thud.
The smoothly sailing boat
turns upside down... and you fall,
from the lovely Edenic heights
into the abyss' eerie lull.
