Power of Thinking
Himmat was a decent boy of a poor farmer in a small village. He was very hardworking, honest and kind.
One night when he was in deep sleep he felt the presence of God. By his hard work, honesty and kindness the
almighty was pleased to bless him with a power…. the power of thinking . Whatever he will think will come
true.
Next morning, when he got up he was confused and could not make out how to confirm his gift from God that
he got last night. At last he decided to think and see. He said to himself: How nice it would be if I became
the Zamindar of this village instead of a poor farmer! Suddenly to his surprise he saw himself as a
Zamindar in a big bungalow. He was very happy to realize that all this was not just a dream.
Now after spending few days of luxurious life he thought of getting married with the most beautiful woman
in the world. And to his surprise his wish came true. He became very happy and wanted to go to a wildlife
safari with his wife. This wish also became true. When he was happily touring around the safari with his
wife, suddenly he thought a tiger may come and attack them. To his surprise this thought also materialised
and a ferocious tiger appeared at the site and pounced upon them. This is how they had a tragic end of their
life.
Not only Himmat, we all are gifted with this power of thinking. Both positive and negative thinking has
deep impact in our life. We must always think positive to get positive results.
