Inspirational Work: My inspirational work is my Pictorial Poetry Book “Hopes in Ashes”. I think I have poured my soul's best in that book. I want women to
realise their inner strength and be strong. They must be strong; not rebellious. I have been lucky enough to get a very motivated, understanding, loving and
friend like husband in life. But I have seen women suffer in this patriarchal set up of society. I have voiced their agonies, and pain of the subjugated ones in this
book. I am part of camp organisation team for making women physically, mentally, intellectually and spiritually strengthened. In the camps they are given
training of Judo-Karate, instinct of discipline, art of eloquence, participation in discussion sessions, yoga and meditation. As role model I deliver lectures to the
students in schools and colleges.

Failure and Successes: I have achieved in life whatever I aimed at. As my aims were built on the concrete ground-level, I rarely faced any failures in life. I believe
in doing work in hand with utmost zeal and enthusiasm. Imparting moral values (bhartiya sanskaras) to my own children as well as too many of my students in
college my greatest success in life. I am not a diplomatic and tactful lady in worldly affairs which sometimes bring me moments of despair in dealing with
diplomatic people around me. But I don't want to change myself. As I feel my simplicity is my strength.
Family and Parents: My father Sh. B.D. Chhabra retired as District Education Officer and my mother Smt. Mathura Devi is a pious and religious minded
housewife. 'simple living and high thinking motto drove the lives of us all (five sisters and two brothers) towards positive and successful ends. They are the
fountain source of my achievements in life. My husband Dr. Rakesh Wadhwa is Registrar in C.D.L.U. Sirsa. He has been the motivating force for my during
married life. My in laws are very honest, truthful and loving people. My son Samarth and daughter Vatsala (very obedient ones) are the beckon lights for me and
are greatly supportive to my being.
Contribution to Humanity: After fulfilling my responsibilities towards my children and after retirement from my present govt. Job, I have plans to devote whole
of my time for the welfare of society. My incessant efforts will be towards women empowerment. I will try to help the deprived women to recognise their intent
power and be strong in life. I will write for the subjugated ones like the Adivasi people, the third gender and suppressed women.
Q. (a). What makes you to be one among 25 wonderful women of virtue?
I belong to a very small town of Haryana. But I never let the lack of exposure over shadow my personality. As I always believe in doing every work, small or great,
with perfection and full-heartedly. My limitations of being a girl or being a dweller of very small place, or being a daughter of a mediocre family could never
thwart me from raising myself to the level of honour, integrity and appreciation. Secondly, I think, I can probe deep in the hearts of women and can feel each and
every minute, anguish, pain or suffering lingering in the dark corners of the women's hearts living in patriarchal set up. Feeling one-another's agony or
tribulations and making efforts to mitigate them make one virtuous. I feel I do that through my interactions in society as well as through my writings. Being
virtuous is working outside the closed circle of selfish motives and embracing humanity. I do try to tread on that path and will continue to do so.
Q. (b). When did you find sense of depersonalisation in you and how?
I never get myself involved too much in the fruit of my actions. I do utmost efforts to achieve the target in life but am never attached with the result to the extent
of generating extreme depression or voluptuous joy in me. I feel cool and calm in both the conditions. I feel my being all embracing for humanity. This attitude
makes me depersonalised many a times.
Q. (c). How and what talents you used in spreading love, peace and humanity?
My perseverance, tolerance, patience, peaceful mind, a strong will and a tendency to extend helping hands to all those around me who so ever requires help me to
be strongly and truly attached to people around me.
Q. (d). Do you feel you have a sense of making people happy? If, yes, how you make?
Yes, I make people happy with my honest and truthful behaviour. At the same time, I always listen patiently the aggrieved hearts which gives them an outlet and
I try to solace the heavy hearts.
Q. (e). Your personal views in building a perfect human being in you.
My tendency to accept things and people as they are. My staunch belief in my efforts and actions as well as God's bounties. I believe “God is in heaven and all is
well in the world”. If I were to be re born on earth after death, I would love to be born in India in the form of woman preferably in my present state.
