Here I look deep within recessed caves
of a comforting darkness,
Geethanjali passionately contributes poems to poetry platforms,
Where a single ray of clarity looms

“Poetry Voice, Soul Riff, Geethatmaa and other collaborative pages”.

A professor of French heading Zone Francofone at Salem, India, and a Light surrounds everything to surface
graduate in English Literature from Ethiraj College Madras, she has silhouettes of discernment,
published anthologies, “Between Moms and Sons” I and II , “The Isn't vision the illuminated
Virtual Reality”, “Plant Poetry” and “ Float Poetry”, in collaboration firmament?
with several renowned poets.
There floats a swan of pure delight
Her poems have been featured in several anthologies. Her solo
anthology “Geethatmaa” is now in book stands and virtual portals. in its untouched form,

She has been awarded the prestigious Reuel International Prize for in my being, gentle, truthful and strong,
Poetry 2017 by The Significant League and is an awardee under the
category of commendable mention at The Great Indian Poetry Unscathed, unperturbed, unlimited
Contest 2019, conducted by On Fire Cultural Movement, and also in its realm undulating,
been conferred the accolade as “A great poet and writer par excellence” As this flame buoys snowy downs

She was recently awarded the coveted “Indian Women Achievers
Award 2020, by Asian Literary Society, at Delhi. Lasath
Geeth's mantra in life is “Bloom where you are planted” and she
strongly believes that poetry connects the world. The warmth of Agni
writes its dazzle on my forehead
Where Your light rises and sets
the vermillion of orbs a fairy red,
As I sit before the fire ready to circumambulate,
Your consort and bride draped
in the nuptial vows mind set to concentrate,
On how I can make You fall in love
with me every waking day,
My eyes a glow with the spark of these embers
my commitment never to sway
Oh Krishna they say I am
Your favourite but I'm not apart from You,
Like this dancing flame
we have merged and never two,
As You hold my hand leading me
in the Saptapadi every single dawn,
I swing with Your Time to
Your lilting song as I myself adorn,
Ever pure, ever rejuvenated for
You are my Sun and star in my eyes,
And around You I shall revolve dazzling
in Your endless skies.
