                   Stairs To Your Soul

O that I were blessed with only one more chance?
I would wrap your frail body and weakened spirits
Life is short, In my arms from the noisome derisions
Make it sweet; Doomed loneliness and wasted self
You braved it all with your virtues of nobility
Keep not all flowers A welcome smile and endless courtesies
for the grave. Honour and dignity were your birthmarks
Engraving it on the tombstones of loving hearts
Decades of selflessness and service to strangers
...Author Mirrored your gentle and Florentine soul
You doctored bodies and healed the scarred emotions
None left your abode without bountiful blessing
Time flew and so did your admired stature
You shrunk into the sheltered corners of silence
But your warmth love and blessings swelled
On visitors walking up the stairs of your soul
