business practices - Business process Management, Functional modules.
UNIT III ERP IMPLEMENTATION 10
Planning Evaluation and selection of ERP systems - Implementation life cycle - ERP implementation,
Methodology and Frame work- Training – Data Migration. People Organization in implementation-
Consultants, Vendors and Employees.
UNIT IV POST IMPLEMENTATION 8
Maintenance of ERP- Organizational and Industrial impact; Success and Failure factors of ERP
Implementation.
UNIT V EMERGING TRENDS ON ERP 9
Extended ERP systems and ERP add-ons -CRM, SCM, Business analytics - Future trends in ERP systems-
web enabled, Wireless technologies, cloud computing.

After completing the course the students should be able to:
Understand the monumental impact of the advent of ERP and hence be able to fully comprehend the Why of
ERP
Understand the different functional modules in an ERP and hence its comprehensive representation of the

Vendors,Consultants and Employees.
Understand the key success and failur factors of ERP implementation.
Understand the emerging trends like CRM,SCM etc.
