To develop skills of students by providing hands on training in some of the aspects of chemical
engineering and unit operations

The students will be able to
Work on different types of fluid meters
Handling of pumps and characteristics
Carry out experiments on unit operations like distillation, extraction and adsorption
Work on heat exchangers

To learn the techniques in studying the microbes using microscopy
To gain knowledge on culturing the microbes and identifying them using dyes
To learn the ability of the microbes to grow in different conditions and the methods to control its
growth against different disinfectants.
