                                                                          Ralston's  Top  Choir,  under  the  direction  of
                                                                     Duane  Peterson,  had  a  very  successful year. The
                                                                     choir participated  in many events,  topping the year
                                                                     off with District Music Contest  on  April  23 and 24.
                                                                           Early  in  the  season,  Ralston  was  host to the
                                                                     annual  As-Sar-Ben  Vocal Clinic.  Under the direc­
                                                                     tion  of  Mr.  Warner  Imig,  of  the  University  of
                                                                     Colorado,  the  400 voice choir, composed of students
                                                                     from  six  different  schools,  presented  a  very en­
                                                                      joyable program.
                                                                           Later  in  the  season  the  choir  appeared  on
                                                                     television  for  the  first time.  They put  on a  selec­
                                                                     tion  of  songs  suitable  for  Christmas.  This  was
                                                                     a  very  High  honor  for  the  choir,  as  only a few
                                                                     were  selected to appear  on television.
                                                                           As  usual  the  choir sung at the annual Christmas
                                                                      concert.  This  year with the combined  efforts of the
                                                                      choir,  band  and  speech  department,  the  program
                                                                     was  very unusual.
                                                                           On  April  5,  the choir  witnessed  another first.
                                                                      They  went  on  tour  to  Nebraska  City  and  Auburn
                                                                      as  a  return  program.  Auburn's  touring  choir
