Chip's" list of accomplishments is seemingly endless: first in
the Class of '67, perennial high honor student, fixture in the Pro
scenium Club productions, captain of the tennis team, lead singer
in the Ox-Bow Incidents, Cum Laude Society member, Editor-in-
Chief of the Quaker, National Merit Scholarship Finalist, and win
ner of almost every French award in the state. Foremost, Chip
handles the English language with rare agility and has limitless,
potential creativity in the humanities. Having established this
record at M.B., what will Chip do for an encore at Amherst? Cer
tainly, whatever he attempts will have its customary spectacular
                 results.

                                    ERIC KNOX TW ACHTMAN

                 Alliance  Francaise,  IV,  V,  VI;  Camera  Club,  IV,  V;  French  Club,  IV,  V,  VI;
Lacrosse, IV, Varsity, V, Letter, VI; Soccer, IV, V, VI; Wrestling, Varsity,
                 IV, Letter, V, VI.

Big things come in little packages, and in wit and spirit per
pound Eric must go unchallenged. When he crept into the Class
of 1967 unnoticed as an elfish sophomore ("My mother's beginning
to worry about me"), he established his reputation as an East
Greenwich wise guy in no time, as he and the "Basgue" added a
new dimension to Mr. Jensen's Easy Education. His spirit as the
                 flyweight  anchoring  the  wrestling  squad  shows  his  serious  side;
and those who have spent any time with "Twachee" have come
to appreciate his considerable artistic talents. The memory of
this jocund jester in the St. Patrick-green jeans will always bring
                 a smile to our lips.

                                 JOHN REMINGTON WATSON, II
Hockey, Varsity, III; Letter, IV, V, VI; Lacrosse, Letter, VI; Soccer, III, Letter,
IV, V, Co-Captain, VI; Spring Track, III, IV, V; Sailing Club, IV, V VI; Outing
                 Club, V, VI.

A jeep, sawed-off soccer shoes, and a mop of tousled blond
hair are three of "Wassoon's" most endearing trademarks. Since
his arrival here in the ninth grade, John has continued to stupify
people for a myriad of reasons. He amazed an erstwhile Belmont
corridor master with his incredible antics, the M.B. hockey coach
with his adaptation of pond hockey to the Meehan rink, opposing
soccer coaches with its hard, devoted play in Co-Captaining the
soccer team to a I 0-1 record, and even Doc Odell by returning
this fall in a '52 white jeep with an A rating from the Rat Patrol
Show. John's real love, however, is the sea, and as a classmate once
remarked, "Wassoon" hates anything that doesn't float. When
John leaves M.B. for the last time, we only hope that the weather
is fine and the sea glassy.
