From 1967 10 1998- Best Wishes To A Teacher
\fter 31 years of teaching at Moses Brown School, Louise Heckman has decided to take
>ome time off to relax, " smell the roses," enjoy her family, and just to have the time
•needed for her to do things for which, as a busy and dedicated teacher, time has never
)een freely available. Many, many boys and girls have passed under the tutelage of Mrs.
Heckman who is generally regarded as a challenging teacher, but also as one with a big
leart. Who can forget the infamous ” Heckman Hold"? Who can forget her work and care
is a chaperone on Docs trips to Europe? Who can forget her just being at Moses Brown?
While we shall all miss her in the classroom next fall, we are also certain that she will be
requently on the campus to which she has added so much life, love, and respect. From
he Class of 1998, best wishes, Mrs. Heckman!
