I Homecoming |
Homecoming Day, October 25, was an event well anticipated by the entire student body. As we all gathered the night before to cheer on our fellov,
classmates at the traditional Pep Rally, we were all entranced by the enormous bonfire. Thanks to the M.C.'s of the night, Winward Griffin and Sarah Cocroi
many wondered what embarrassing obstacles awaited our little freshmen. From Wiley's topping off of the "Freshmen Sundeas" to the Boy's Soccer tean
who had their freshmen dance in skirts while wearing underwear on their heads, and praising a chicken from Ned Bliss's farm. All joking aside, the PepRalf
was a great event that brought the entire student body together. The traditional bonfire and creative team skits were started last year by Moses Brown's owi
Student Senate and MBAA. Both worked very hard and did a great job, however, the class of 1998 will now only experience the Pep Rally as alumni. Most of
us will return in future years because we know that the Pep Rallies to come will be bigger and better.
The following morning was Homecoming Day, and unfortunatley due to the horrible weather, many of us wanted to stay in bed. However, the Moses Browi:
teams emerged and played for the honor of winning on their Homecoming. Unfortunately, many teams did come out with the big "W. " The few that did, wi
salute. Overall, Homecoming was small in comparison to the amount of people who showed up in past years, but everyone still had a great time. And thi
traditional alumni soccer game was played on Sunday to which the Seniors lost in a shut out to the Alumni. Looking past the weather, Homecoming wa^
great to everyone and the class of 1998 would like to thank everyone that contributed to making it such a success.
