The Varsity Cheerleading Squad and its sponsor, Mrs. Picariello.
Go! Team! Go! The rousing battle-cry of Wilson’s peppy cheerleaders resounds
across football field and gymnasium. After undergoing rigorous competition for a position
on the squad, it is the responsibility of these girls to promote school spirit at all athletic
events attended by spectators. This year’s varsity and J.'V. chcerleading squads, coached

by Mrs. Picariello, and captained by Marianne Bonaventura and Loretta O’Neil, did an
outstanding job in generating enthusiasm and spirit at all football and basketball games.
Their desire and determination to make the crowds cheer was shown at every ".ime.
