JAMES CHARLES HARVEY

Herr Harvey is one of the mainstays of the boarding department, except on weekends when he can
be found all around Thayer Street. He’s that big!!! Jim ’s athletic activities consist of his being
varsity football manager in his junior year. His extracurricular activities are represented by his pos
ition as overseer for the defunct chess club. Jim ’s departure from Moses Brown will not be event
ful, but the establishments on Thayer Street will surely miss his business.

As one of the "Whiz-Kids” of this class, Dave has made an indelible mark at Moses Brown.
While his keen brain has been seen in action in many courses, he has also been very active in
several other academic, extra-curricular, and athletic activities. Elected to Cum Laude in his junior
year, he endeared himself to all his instructors with continued excellency in scholarship during his
final year. His editorship of this publication produced an outstanding record for his-classmates.
Further, he was a key member of the fabulous tennis teams of 1975 and 1976. No stranger to
social affairs, he has often been noticed making the party go. This versatile kid has not yet reached
                                                          his full potential.

John came through the Moses Brown gates six years ago, and his presence here has been visible
ever since. John is quite outspoken, and he has expressed himself through numerous editorials in
the Quaker. John, being an honor student, has done well academically. John is also an official
member of all the intramural squads. His major interest is playing the guitar. When John’s Opal
rolls off the MB campus for the last time, MB will be losing a dedicated student and a good
                                                          friend.
